The year has flown and it's time to polish the boots and get the sticks out. So the start of the school year brings us 2 walks on Sunday. So make your choice. First we have Clare, taking a walk around and up Knocknashee and Court Abbey. Plan is to meet at 12 noon at Homeland store on the Tubbercurry/Sligo road at 12 noon. Eircode F91 EP83. Clare will take you from there for this C walk. Her number is... 086 366 1307.
The other walk is Largy Wood to Hag's leap/Eagle's Rock/Cloontypruglish. Whatever you want to call it, this walk is a toughie. Maximum of 15km (I promise) but a tough 15km with climbs and rough terrain. Highest point 445m. For this, we can meet at Henry's Restaurant on the N15, Car pool and drive from there. At 10am.
