What have we got for you this Sunday? Well, Cavan Burren has been done and the walk scheduled for March with Naomi, is now on for tomorrow and if you go you will find yourself on the highest peak, between Glencar and Lough Gill, at 463m. THe actual meaning of Crockauns is "little hills". But this one isn't so little. Classed as an easy "B" walk, it is about 9km, with a maximum climb of 300m. You need your boots, your lunch, your whistle and hopefully not your rain gear, but bring it just in case. The start is complicated to explain, so you can meet Naomi at Tubs and Tiles...the bathroom shop in Sligo, near Ash Lane. Eircode F91 HW1A. Meet here at 10:45. If anyone is interested in meeting up at Crescent, Boyle at say 10am, let me know and I will spread the word.
