Ever heard of pre dinner drinks? Well we have a walk on Friday evening at Carrowkeel to celebrate the summer solstice which to all intents and purposes is on the 21st June. However the world and its mother wants to do just that on the 21st and Carrowkeel gets smothered with Druids, drums, yoga, fairies and all types of woo woo goings on. So we have decided to celebrate on the 20th, in case we get influenced by the other world. So bring a bit of grub to share and meet at McDernott's pub, Castlebaldwin on Friday evening at 7pm. From here, Tom will guide you to the mystical tombs of the Bricklieves and you never know what you might experience. What's more, the evening looks pretty good. Not a hard walk, just an out of world opportunity.
